What Happened in August?

 1. The first day of the month brought a great Albemarle home for Wiggles.

 4. Linus went to his new home in Norwood with his wonderful new family.

 5. Brought in two puppies found in Albemarle.

 6. Cleopatra was adopted and Wilmington will be her purr-fect new home.

 8.  Vader was adopted and will be living in Salisbury.  It was off to New London for Kahuna with his new family.

12.  Mt Pleasant is now home for Raven who was adopted by a family there.  Saydee has been adopted and will be living with her new family in Locust.

13.  Sometimes, now matter how hard we try to save one, God has other plans.  Rest in Peace, Maggie.

14.  Muffin's been adopted and she'll be living in Norwood.  Found a pup by Lake Tillery and brought in a dog wandering a trailer park.

16.  Brought in a kitten found stopping traffic on Hwy 24/27.

18.  It's off to Gastonia for Medley to live with his new family.

19.  Thomasville will be the new abode for Bessie (to be known as Stella).

22.  At our first ever Adopt-a-Pet at Tractor Supply, we had an adoption!  Mr. Schroeder left with a nice young couple from New London.

UPDATE!!!

Vader with his new boy.

Did you know?

Puppies can't control their bladders overnight until they are at least four months old. Until then, cover the floor around the puppy's bed with newspapers.

UPDATE!!!

Thought you might want some updated pictures of the puppy (Linus aka Doby).  He's doing really well adapting to his new home.  I think he's really enjoying himself and he is 100% spoiled rotten already!!  Hope you enjoy the pics!

Some People Are Just So Darn Crafty & Their Dogs Are So LUCKY!!

Here's some pictures of Joy (Sprayberry) with her new Popsicle Stand!

Why don't you do something?

I looked at all the caged animals in the shelter...the cast-offs of human society.
I saw in their eyes love and hope, fear and dread, sadness, and betrayal.
And I was angry.
"God," I said, "this is terrible! Why don't you do something?"
God was silent for a moment, and then spoke softly,
"I have done something," was the reply. "I created you."
